摘要: SYNOPSIS. Cell-free extracts of a streptomycin-bleached strain Euglena gracilis var. bacillaris have been examined for enzyme systems primarily responsible the oxidation reduced pyridine nucelotides. NADH lipoyl dehydrogenase, and NADPH oxidase, diaphorase, cytochrome c reductase demonstrated. The NADPH-linked enzymes had lower activity rates were less sensitive to N-ethyl maleimide p-hydroxymercuribenzoate than their NADH-linked counterparts. was most antimycin A. Michaelis-Menten constants (Km) determined as follows: 350 μM; 200 reductase, 13 9 100 oxidase 150 0.35 μM. Enzyme activities after storage at –5 C indicate that diaphorases are labile other tested enzymes, differential linked suggest functionally they may different roles.
