摘要: Affinity chromatography is now an established technique for the purification of biologically active compounds (1,2). As in all rapidly expanding sciences, new concepts are continually being introduced and old ones modified or discarded. The use spacer arms to enhance binding was first heralded as a major advance. Gradually it became clear that could also serve merely increase nonspecific due length arms, their hydrophobic properties charges during coupling reaction with cyanogen bromide (3).
