摘要: Background Vascular trauma comprises a diagnostic and surgical challenge. Aim of this study was to present the vascular traumas treated in our Tertiary Hospital during last 5 years. Methods We retrospectively reviewed records department documented site type injuries extremities along with concurrence musculoskeletal injuries. The outcome interventions were also recorded. Results Fifty-eight cases recorded (39 upper 19 lower extremities). Overall, iatrogenic accounted for 41.3% cases. arterial limb blunt penetrating 27% 67%, respectively. most affected artery radial (37.8%), followed by ulnar (27%) brachial (24.3%). Orthopedic 19% patients. Management involved simple revascularization, bypass operations, patch arterioplasty endovascular management 48.7%, 33.3%, 5.1%, extremity common femoral (36.8%) popliteal (21%). Bone fractures reported (26.3%). bypass, 42.1%, 26.3%, 21%, Endovascular performed 10.5%. Conclusions A considerable percentage recorded, affecting both limbs. Despite trend toward centralization services, basic service surgery should be available sites ensure that patients receive fast appropriate care.
