摘要: KIE: A California Superior Court judge denied the request of William Bartling, a 70-year-old competent patient suffering from several potentially fatal disorders, to have court order hospital withdraw his life-sustaining ventilator. Annas contends that accepted misinterpretation by Bouvia and Barber cases, effect treatment refusal nonterminal, individual is suicide imposes criminal liability on physicians.
