A new and fast frequency response estimation technique for noisy systems

摘要: Frequency response, and hence transfer function, estimation of systems is vital importance to several engineering fields such as signal processing, communications, control, system modeling identification. Any digital frequency response scheme with attractive features low cost, high speed, good accuracy excellent noise harmonic rejection capabilities will therefore be great practical benefit practitioners in the above-mentioned fields. We propose test a new theory, based on concept non-subtractively dithered quantization, that makes desirable possible. The theory tested here number filters under some stringent conditions characterized by coarsest possible (1-bit) quantization very noisy (low SNR) environments. simulation results substantiate quite well proposed thus making VLSI implementation 1-bit worth pursuing future.
