A Fake Iris Detection Method Based on FFT and Quality Assessment

摘要: In recent years, iris recognition is becoming a very active topic in both research and practical applications. However, fake potential threat there are threats for iris-based systems. This paper presents novel detection method based on the analysis of 2-D Fourier spectra together with image quality assessment. First, assessment used to exclude defocused, motion blurred iris. Then statistical properties clear detection. Experimental results show that proposed can detect photo printed effectively.
