摘要: Students, scientists and engineers have to choose between the flexible, free-form input of pencil paper computational power Computer Algebra Systems (CAS) when solving mathematical problems. Hands-On Math is a multi-touch pen-based system which attempts unify these approaches by providing virtual that enhanced recognize notations as means in situ access CAS functionality. Pages can be created organized on large pannable desktop, expressions computed, graphed manipulated using set uni- bi-manual interactions facilitate rapid exploration eliminating tedious error prone transcription tasks. Analysis qualitative pilot evaluation indicates potential our approach highlights usability issues with novel techniques used.
