摘要: The siting of nuclear waste facilities has been very difficult in all countries. Recent experience Sweden indicates, however, that it may be possible, under certain circumstances, to gain local support for the a high-level (HLNW) repository. article reports on study attitudes and risk perceptions people living four municipalities where HLNW was being intensely discussed at political level, media, among public. Data showed relatively high level consensus acceptability least further investigation issue; two cases councils have since voted favor go-ahead, one case only small majority defeated issue.
