摘要: Ubiquitous computing is becoming a reality around us through the combination of personal mobile device proliferation and pervasive technologies. The objective this qualitative research in progress to understand challenges organizations face from evolutionary nature uncover how they “get ready” meet needs their stakeholders. Grounded theory, current explores perceptions computing, pressures, preparations, progression enterprise readiness (EMR) context higher education. Preliminary findings show that decoupled structure resistance by gatekeepers are key EMR. Additionally, IS providers have given little thought about benchmark EMR efforts. This contributes extant literature helps fill an important gap at organizational level.
