摘要: The results of 82 web crippling tests are presented, with 20 conducted on channel sections without openings and 62 openings. consider both end-two-flange interior-two-flange loading conditions. In the case openings, hole was located directly under concentrated load. load applied through bearing plates; effect different lengths is investigated. addition, cases flanges fastened unfastened to support considered. A non-linear elasto-plastic finite element model described, compared against laboratory test results; a good agreement obtained in terms strength failure modes.
