摘要: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus spp. (MRS) have been identified in several foods, including dairy products. Studies are needed about their occurrence and genetic diversity the production chain order to gain a better understanding of epidemiology control. This study therefore focuses on isolating characterizing MRS strains detected milk used Brazilian artisanal unpasteurized cheeses. To this end, samples were collected from bovine feces, hands milkmen, milking buckets, sieves, milk, whey, water, cheeses, cheese processing surfaces, handlers, trays, molds, skimmers at five farms located state Sao Paulo, Brazil. Colonies suggestive subjected multiplex PCR confirm presence aureus detect mecA gene. Sixteen isolates containing gene handlers. None these positive enterotoxin genes. These 16 antimicrobial susceptibility tests, which revealed they resistant oxacillin, penicillin, cefepime. Using sequencing, as S. haemolyticus, hominis, epidermidis. Furthermore, handlers' presented high similarity by random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD-PCR) analysis, indicates cross contamination during production. Thus, we found that people directly involved activities small potential source cheese, representing risk public health.
