摘要: Abstract The effects of laser nitriding on surface hardness, corrosion and wear behavior the conventional biomedical implants such as commercially available pure titanium Ti–13Nb–13Zr alloy is reported. influence alloying elements Zr Nb nitride formation was also studied by newly developed (Ti–13Nb–13Zr). modified samples were characterized using optical microscope (OM), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques. Corrosion rate, rate coefficient friction made under simulated body condition for alloy. high speed processing these alloys enabled smooth crack free surface.
