摘要: Ultrasound-assisted extraction was employed to extract polysaccharides from lotus (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) seeds. Response Surface Methodology used determine the optimal conditions of ultrasound power, time, and temperature at 406 W, 7.7 min, 94°C, respectively. The crude successively purified by chromatography, yielding a major polysaccharide fraction termed LSPS-1. It is heteropolysaccharide, containing rhamnose, arabinose, glucose, galactose with molecular weight 4484 Da an α-dominating configuration in pyranose form sugar. Preliminary antioxidant activity test vitro showed LSPS-1 could potentialize scavenging effect on hydroxyl radicals dose dependent manner.
