摘要: Chronic use of benzodiazepines for the treatment anxiety has revealed that these drugs can lead to dependence as indicated by withdrawal symptoms following cessation and tolerance effects. Together with their reinforcing properties, this led them being labelled scheduled drugs. Our new knowledge regarding molecular structure benzodiazepine binding site growing ability differentiate GABA(A) receptor subtypes, either genetic manipulation or subtype selective compounds, have begun facilitate our understanding what underlies mechanism dependence. In addition, involvement receptors in phenomenon is leading a greater other such alcohol opiates.
