Understanding of sport concussion by the parents of young rugby players: a pilot study.

摘要: OBJECTIVE: Establish the knowledge and beliefs of parents high school rugby players about concussion. DESIGN: Descriptive cross-sectional intercept style face-to-face pilot survey. SETTING: The survey was conducted during games. PARTICIPANTS: Two hundred male who were attending their teenagers' MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Exploratory analysis closed- open-ended questionnaire. Concussion signs symptoms subsequently mapped onto framework Sport Assessment Tool. RESULTS: Most (83%; 165 198) reported that they able to recognize a concussion in teenager provide list well-accepted symptoms.
