摘要: ABSTRACT: Modeling phosphorus (P) loss from agricultural watersheds is key to quantifying the long term water quality benefits of alternative best management practices. Scientists engaged in this endeavor struggle represent processes controlling P transport at scales and time frames that are meaningful farmers, resource managers, policy makers. To help overcome these challenges, we reviewed salient issues facing scientists model transport, providing a conceptual framework which process-based models might be evaluated. Recent advances release soil overland subsurface flow show extraction coefficients relating variable but can represented as function land cover or erosion. Existing information on effects export should linked watershed better changes transport. The main needs inclusion flexible P, fertilizer manure loss, stream channel edge-of-field losses prior body input, linkage water-body response models. However, it essential most appropriate carefully selected, according user9s terms available input data, level predictive accuracy, scale simulation being considered.
