摘要: This study analyzed scientists information behaviors when they engage in solving specific research problems various situations throughout the entire scientific R&D lifecycle process. In-depth interviews with a total of 24 were conducted their laboratories, scientists` everyday workplace and contexts research. The theoretical methodological frameworks employed for this Dervin`s Sense-making, Savolainen`s Everyday Life Information Seeking, Engestrom`s Activity Theory. findings informed context-specific 14 sub stages five-stage lifecycle. Specifically, revealed objectives related (e.g., needs, seeking, sources channels, barriers, etc.) to achieve at each sub-stage. results provided essential re-design services strategies that accommodate
