摘要: We investigate switching characteristics of the nonlinear birefringent loop mirror which consists a symmetric directional coupler, fiber, and symmetry-breaking element that converts linearly polarized light to circularly light, vice versa. The condition for total reflection in linear regime is obtained using Jones matrix formalism, curves have been through numerical computations both nondispersive pulse soliton-like regime. Parameter values suitable practical applications our device as an intensity filter are obtained.
