摘要: Glass fibre has compsn. (by wt.) 56-60 (pref. 57-59)% SiO2, 10-12.9 11-12.5)% Al2O3, 22-25 23-24.5)% CaO+ MgO, 0-3% 2-6 2-5)%B23, 0-2 % Na2O, 0-1% K2O, TiO2, Fe2O3 and F2, the sum of alkali metal oxides being max 2%. The B2O3 content is pref. 2-3.5%, TiO2 1-2% Na2O 0-6-2%. USE/ADVANTAGE - Continuous (reinforcing) glass a simular to that E but cheaper high acid resistance. Useful for all conventional applicatons, esp. mfg. composites exposed corrosive media, industrial waste pipes.
