摘要: Abstract The research project set out to improve reading skills among third level engineering students at an Egyptian College of Technology where many them were dissatisfied with existing negative attitudes towards English and the inadequacies teaching that they received. A needs analysis was carried establish what their teachers perceived as major in which deficient. This taxonomy then used basis for developing a improvement programme. It trialled experimental group (N=66, 2 classes), compared control (N=70) stayed materials currently institution.
