摘要: The amino acid sequence of equine milk lysozyme has been elucidated. study involves the determination N-terminal region whole protein, cyanogen bromide fragments, tryptic and chymotryptic peptides fragments produced by chemical cleavage after tryptophan residues. protein consists a single chain 129 residues Mr 14647. While essential features c(chick)-type lysozyme, there is only 51% homology with human 50% domestic hen egg white lysozyme. Some implications large number differences are discussed.
