摘要: The basic formulation of the least squares method, based on L2 norm misfit, is still widely used today for identifying elastic material properties from experimental data. An alternative statistical approach Bayesian method. We seek here situations with significant difference between found by two methods. For a simple three bar truss example we illustrate such in which leads to more accurate results: different magnitude measurements, uncertainty measurements and correlation among measurements. When all effects add up, can have large advantage. then compared methods identification constants plate vibration natural frequencies.
