摘要: Mortalin, also termed mitochondria heat shock protein 70 (mthsp70), peptide binding 74 (PBP74), or glucose regulated 75 (Grp75), is a member of the Hsp70 chaperone family and has been shown to possess unique functional characteristics in number different subcellular loci. Functional roles can be classified into two major classes based upon subcelluar location. The first class functions involve those that occur mitochondrion which include participation import nuclear-encoded cytoplasmically-delivered proteins, nascent folding degradation within mitochondrion, interaction with submitochondrial constituents. second involves extramitochondrial 53 (p53), centrosomes, growth factors, immune system constituents, proteins endoplasmic reticulum, metabolic purpose this review describe some mortalin action various compartments. Further, evaluation pathology on proteomic status will examined an effort highlight potential importance disease initiation progression.
