摘要: Abstract Background and objectives The goal of the present study was to replicate extend previous research on relationship between stress generation two well-documented anxiety related cognitive vulnerabilities, Looming Cognitive Style (LCS) Anxiety Sensitivity (AS). We first sought findings that LCS AS augment each other's effect. Next, we expanded upon these by conducting fine grained analyses not possible in prior study, using third edition Index ( Taylor et al., 2007 ) examined individual facets AS, which includes: Mental Incapacitation (fear mental impairment), Physical catastrophic outcomes such as death), Social being noticed for trembling, blushing) facets. Methods followed 99 female undergraduates who were assessed twice over a six-week interval. Results First, results replicated showed magnified impact generation. Second, subscales indicated significant interactions but facet. Limitations include reliance self-report measures use only sample. Using sample is consistent with literature, limits generalizability males. Conclusions are emerging view an active, transactional process anxiety-related styles (much like depressive styles) contribute
