摘要: Abstract Hybrid hydrogen storage systems, which see the adoption of metal hydride materials charged at high pressure, can be a viable method to reach good gravimetric and volumetric capacities under selected conditions, since is stored both as element bound pressure gas. A general structural model, simulate hybrid tanks, has been developed, with aim describing performance system various operating conditions. baseline case simulated, comparing tanks composed SS316 IM6 graphite fiber reinforced epoxy composite that contain store weight fractions ranging from 2% 8%. Sensitivity analyses were performed for studies determining conditions maximize capacities. Results show systems are optimal (in terms capacity) tank having low density allowable stress, while preferable materials, especially when coupled hydrides capable storing fraction hydrogen.
