摘要: Expression of different panels latent gene transcripts is controlled by usage three distinct Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) nuclear antigen (EBNA) promoters (Wp, Cp, and Qp). EBV-associated hemophagocytic syndrome, which often a fatal disease generally occurs after primary EBV infection, characterized monoclonal or oligoclonal proliferation EBV-infected T cells. The latency pattern EBNA promoter Qp) in cells from patients with syndrome were examined reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Three samples the expressed EBER, EBNA1, EBNA2, membrane protein (LMP)1, LMP2A transcripts. EBNA1 initiated not only Wp/Cp but also Qp. Lytic cycle Fp-initiated lytic BZLF1 detected. methylation statuses two infectious mononucleosis analyzed using bisulfite PCR analysis. Wp was hypermethylated, Qp unmethylated both diseases. Cp highly methylated however, whereas almost mononucleosis. These results suggest that there may be cell populations exhibit patterns expression. status phenotype critical differences
