摘要: This thesis details an investigation into the application of genetic algorithms to indoor optical wireless communication systems. The principle aims are show how it is possible for a algorithm control received power distribution within multiple dynamic environments, such that single receiver design can be employed lowering system costs. kind approach not typical research currently being undertaken, where normally, emphasis on performance has always been linked with improvements design. Within this thesis, custom built simulator developed ability determine channel characteristics at all locations deployment environment, configurations including user movement and alignment variability. Based these results began structure algorithm, testing 192 different ones in total. After evaluation each one their merits, 2 remained proposed use. These were shown capable reducing deviation by up 26%, forming, whilst perturbs channel, through variable alignment, consistent 12% optimised case. The final part work, extends use only try optimise deviation, but also signal noise ratio deviation. It was around empty environment maintain case 10% when channel.
