摘要: This paper examines the status of information ecology research through studying published papers on topic included in Social Sciences Citation Index and Science database from 1992 to 2013. It applies bibliometrics knowledge mapping analyze changes number as time goes on, terms country geographic area, topics, methods, funding sources, hot spots, trends. In addition, this summarizes origin evolution introduces institutions that conduct research. The results indicate is an emerging field with vigorous development recent years, a multi-disciplinary subject. also reveals mainly focuses ecosystems, e-commerce, network. calls for wider deeper ecology, order explore issues caused by rapid new technologies.
