Coherent Modelling of Backscatter and Propagation of Precipitation

摘要: In order to improve knowledge about scattering processes and their effects on the backscattered signal, accurate modelling of radar backscatter is required. this paper we present a stochstic, coherent fully-polarimetric model which simulates propagation an electromagnetic wave through medium containing raindrops various sizes, shapes orientations calculates signal. Some simulation examples will show potential with regard understanding predicting scenarios.
