Hierarchical clustering of the data vortex optical interconnection network

摘要: The data vortex photonic interconnection network is studied for application to clustering and hierarchical layering of nodes. Performance examined varying cluster counts under loads locality. In today's technology, similar performance attained at high communication locality (>2/3), a 19% latency reduction obtained the highest (>95%) current optical switching technology. For projected future clustered system shown yield up 55% in applications with 2/3 or better
