摘要: Numerous methodologies have been employed for the detection of antisperm-antibodies (ASA). Contradictory reports regarding clinical significance and interpretation results these exist. The conflicting data reported by various investigators may be a result many different factors. In addition to actual differences in ASA testing modalities, specimen preparation test vary from lab lab. Furthermore, sperm specimens are dynamic, undergoing maturational changes including capacitation acrosome reaction. This changing epitopes as outer acrosomal membrane its associated proteins lost antigens present on inner exposed. A large number peer-reviewed publications originating reference laboratories confirm mixed antiglobulin reaction immunobead tests seminal fluid males with unexplained infertility. Testing plasma or serum was found less relevant fertility assessments.
