摘要: Humans are exposed daily to multiple chemicals, including incidental exposures complex chemical mixtures released into the environment and combinations of chemicals that already co-exist in because previous releases from various sources. Exposures can occur through pathways across routes. In this paper, we propose an iterative approach for assessing environmental mixtures; it is similar single-chemical approaches. Our encompasses two elements Risk Assessment Paradigm: Problem Formulation Exposure Assessment. Multiple phases assessment each element paradigm. During Formulation, analysts identify characterize source(s) mixture, ensure dose–response exposure measures concordant, develop a preliminary evaluation mixture's fate. Assessment, evaluate fate comprising mixture using appropriate models measurement data, scenario, estimate human mixture. We also describe utility grouping be analyzed based on both physical–chemical properties understanding article, highlight need changes composition due differential transport, degradation, partitioning other media. The Results section describes application method mixtures, highlighting issues associated with environment.
