Post-Translational Arginylation of Proteins in Cultured Cells*

摘要: The aim of this study was to analyze the N-terminal post-translational incorporation arginine into cytosolic proteins from cultured cells and in vitro soluble PC12 after serum deprivation. Arginine measured presence protein synthesis inhibitors. None inhibitors used affected significantly arginylation reaction while novo reduced by 98%. Under these conditions, we found that total [14C]arginine incorporated proteins, around 20% 40% position a mechanism. These results suggest aminoacylation may be widespread neuronal non-neuronal cells. We also cells, 60% higher apoptotic with respect control findings involved programmed cell death.
