摘要: This research project investigated the experiences of academics and researchers using blogs to support their practice. The three questions were: identify academics' researchers' motivations for beginning maintaining a blog, contribution blogging learning in profession, challenges experienced. The were several methods. Five datasets collected from 26 participants. A questionnaire was first administered collect background information about bloggers, analysed quantitatively. Then, an initial unstructured interview one open-ended question conducted by email. descriptive phenomenology. follow-on semi-structured applying thematic analysis. Blog content parallel: textual extracts discourse analysis visual thematic/saliency Results revealed varied reasons blog. For example, blog can be used as repository 'half-baked' ideas. Regarding methodological research, suggestions on strategies mixing matching different methods data collection have been provided.
