Mapping XML to OWL ontologies

摘要: By now, XML has reached a wide acceptance as data exchange format in E-Business. An efficient collaboration between different participants E-Business thus, is only possible, when business partners agree on common syntax and have understanding of the basic concepts domain. covers syntactic level, but lacks support for sharing conceptualizations. The Web Ontology Language (OWL [Bec04]) turn supports representation domain knowledge using classes, properties instances use distributed environment WorldWideWeb. We present this paper mapping model elements OWL. give account about its implementation within ready-to-use XSLT framework, well evaluation cases.
