摘要: Purpose To evaluate factors influencing good and poor outcomes after intracorneal ring segment implantation to correct keratoconus. Setting Instituto Oftalmologico de Alicante (Vissum Corporation), University of Miguel Hernandez, Alicante, Spain. Methods A retrospective comparative study the visual outcome, 25 eyes 21 patients were implanted segments (Intacs, Addition Technology) as a method Outcomes evaluated 6 months based on results. Group comprised 20 that gained 3 lines or more best spectacle-corrected acuity (BSCVA) keratoconus, B 5 lost 1 line BSCVA. Results In A, preoperative mean BSCVA was 0.43 (20/50) postoperative BSCVA, 0.82 (20/20) ( P ≤.0001). B, 0.36 (20/63) 0.24 (20/80) ≤.02).
