摘要: T regulatory cells (Treg) constitute a specialized subset of that play pivotal role in preventing the occurrence autoimmune diseases by suppressing deleterious activities immune cells. Contrarily, they can have adverse effect on response against infectious where Treg weaken host immunity leading to enhanced microbial load and thereby increase severity disease. Here, we attempted review plethora information documenting prevalence tuberculosis (TB) their involvement progression immunopathogenesis Further, laid emphasis possible use as biomarker for determining TB treatment efficacy. Also, discussed probable contribution dampening efficacy BCG, anti-TB vaccine. Finally, speculated some strategies which might be explored exploiting enhancing management.
