摘要: Despite clinical and technological advances, serious gaps remain in delivering genetic services due to disparities workforce distribution lack of coverage for testing counseling. Genetic delivery, particularly medically underserved populations, may rely heavily on primary care providers (PCPs). This study aims identify barriers integrating care, strategies support integration, by conducting a scoping review. Literature synthesis found most frequently cited PCPs including insufficient knowledge about genetics risk assessment, access geneticists, time address these challenges. Telegenetics, patient-centered learning communities are overcome barriers. Telegenetics supplements face-to-face clinics providing remote services. It also be used physician consultations education. Patient-centered allows providers, families, patients coordinate resources. Access expert information provides critical resource PCPs. Learning represent mechanism that facilitates exchange sharing among different providers. As often play crucial role caring with disorders areas, care-medical integration must addressed improve access. Strategies, such as telegenetics, promotion evidence-based guidelines, point-of-care assessment tools, tailored education genetics-related topics, other system-level strategies, will facilitate better which turn, service delivery residing communities.
