摘要: We report the first clinical use of a new, flexible, low profile, balloon-expandable metallic stent and delivery system (ACS Multi-Link). The stent, designed in an effort to overcome shortcoming existing stents, has metal mass, superior scaffolding properties favourable rheological characteristics. It also allows side branch access is delivered via innovative catheter. Ten stents were used treat 10 patients with threatened abrupt closure after balloon angioplasty. All successfully deployed, satisfactory angiographic result nine. patient unsatisfactory proceeded uneventful coronary bypass surgery. There no other procedural or in-hospital complications. One developed restenosis one had intra-cerebral bleed following fall. This new thus appears safe effective when closure. Due its characteristics, it may be well suited for reduction restenosis. A multi-centre European registry (WEST) primary implantation 100 consecutive now been completed.
