摘要: If proper polymerization of resin-based cements is to be achieved for fiber post luting, light activation needed photo-curing agents, recommended self-curing materials. The study was aimed at verifying whether the light-transmitting ability marketed posts reflected manufacturers' claims translucency. Ten per type were light-irradiated with a curing unit. Spectrophotometric measurements amount photons reaching different levels taken. Data statistically analyzed (linear regression, two-way ANOVA; alpha = 0.05). No transmission recorded through FibreKleer and Tech21 X-OP. For other posts, intensity decreased from coronal apical rose again tip, where it peaked GC Fiber Post, Macrolock Illusion Radix Post. Light significantly higher level. A significant difference in translucency found Dentin Post X FRC Postec Plus comparison Reforpost, FibreKleer, X-OP, Composipost.
