Electrochemical studies on polymer electrolytes based on poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) membranes prepared by electrospinning and phase inversion—A comparative study

摘要: The synthesis, characterization and electrochemical properties of poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) {l_brace}P(VdF-co-HFP){r_brace} prepared by electrospinning phase inversion methods are reported. morphologies the membranes were studied field emission scanning electron microscope atomic force microscope. Thermal evaluated differential calorimetry. resultant porous good absorbents liquid electrolytes exhibit high electrolyte retention capacity. polymer soaking in electrolyte. temperature dependent ionic conductivity evaluated. Li/LiFePO{sub 4} cell with electrospun membrane delivers a discharge capacity 145 mAh/g, which corresponds to 85% utilization active material under test conditions shows lower fade continuous cycling.
