摘要: Adenosine is implicated in the modulation of cardiovascular responses either at peripheral or central level experimental animals. However, there are no dedicated reviews on involvement adenosine mediating hypotensive response centrally administered clonidine general and specifically aortically barodenervated rats (ABD). The conscious ABD rat model exhibits surgically induced baroreflex dysfunction exaggerated response, compared with sham-operated (SO) rats. current review focuses on, role receptors blood pressure (BP) regulation their possible crosstalk other e.g. imidazoline (I1) alpha (α2A) adrenergic receptor (AR). former a molecular target for clonidine, whose effect enhanced approx. 3-fold We also discussed how balance between brain stem A1 A2A regulated by baroreceptors such influences mediated responses. use yielded insight into downstream signaling cascades following clonidine-evoked hypotension surgical dysfunction.
