摘要: Catalytic conversions in heterogeneous catalysis originate from the molecular interactions occurring at gas-solid and liquid-solid interface. The study of these is a complex problem for theoretical chemist, while experimentalist usually has no problems systematizing her or his findings. vast number industrial applications successes certainly gives credit to empirical approach. experimentalist, however, may soon realize that absence firm guidelines scientific understanding progress costly requires significant effort screening various materials. On other hand, mostly slow lags behind experimental results, little time taken translate discoveries into comprehensible language.
