摘要: Abstract In order to achieve BaAl 2 O 4 formation via combustion synthesis, two types of recipes were designed: single fuel (urea, glycine, β-alanine or hexamethylenetetramine) and innovative mixture (urea+glycine, urea+β-alanine urea+hexamethylenetetramine respectively). No reactions noticed in the case based on urea hexamethylenetetramine. The only crystalline phase present powders obtained such a way was unreacted Ba(NO 3 ) . Glycine generated smoldering reactions, leading black powders, which consist , BaCO traces (in β-alanine). Fuel proved be better than recipes, yielding as main phase. specific surface area resulted ranges between 2.0 3.9 m /g. glycine most efficient with an average crystallite size 60 nm.
