摘要: A search for direct production of the supersymmetric (SUSY) partners electrons or muons is presented in final states with two opposite-charge, same-flavour leptons (electrons and muons), no jets, large missing transverse momentum. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity 35.9 fb(-1) proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV, collected CMS detector LHC 2016. uses M-T2 variable, which generalises mass systems invisible objects provides a discrimination against standard model backgrounds containing W bosons. observed yields are consistent expectations from model. interpreted context simplified SUSY models probes slepton masses up approximately 290, 400, 450 GeV, assuming right-handed only, left-handed both right- sleptons (mass degenerate selectrons smuons), massless lightest particle. Limits also set on smuons separately. These limits show improvement existing 150GeV. (C) 2019 Author(s). Published by Elsevier B.V.
