The purpose of this study was to assess the utility transvaginal ultrasonography in evaluation endometrial morphology addition standard criterion thickness for selecting patients sampling.Methods. Two hundred and seven consecutive cases postmenopausal bleeding were evaluated by ultrasound. Endometrial measured as maximum anteroposterior endometrium including both anterior posterior layers, sagittal long axis view. studied categorized homogeneous, focally increased echogenecity, diffusely echogenecity or inhomogeneous.
