摘要: Abstract In this work, the effect of surface treatments on smectitic clay was investigated in energetics and thermal behaviors epoxy/clay nanocomposites. The pH values, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) were used to analyze cation exchange exfoliation phenomenon interlayer. properties nanocomposites contact angles thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), respectively. From experimental results, modification by dodecylammonium chloride led increases both distance between silicate layers about 8 A acid as well electron acceptor component (γ + s ) free energy, resulting improved interfacial adhesion basic (or donor) epoxy resins acidic (electron acceptor) interlayers. Also, stability highly superior pure resin due presence well-dispersed nanolayer, which has a barrier property composite system.
