摘要: Stratum corneum lipids play a predominant role in maintaining the water barrier of skin. In order to understand biological variation levels and composition ceramides, ceramide 1 subtypes, cholesterol fatty acids, stratum collected from tape strippings three body sites (face, hand, leg) female Caucasians different age groups were analysed. addition, we studied influence seasonal on lipid same sites. The main species quantified using high-performance thin-layer chromatography individual acids gas chromatography. Our findings demonstrated significantly decreased all major species, particular with increasing age. Similarly, examined dramatically depleted winter compared spring summer. relative linoleate also aged skin whereas oleate increased. other acid remained fairly constant both season age, apart lignoceric heptadecanoic which showed decrease mass intercellular altered ratios esterified 1, are likely contribute increased susceptibility perturbation function xerosis, particularly during months.
