摘要: In the field of plasma spray technologies, new processes are developing to obtain coatings with nanostructured architectures. Difficulties understanding and controlling process originate from continuous injection a liquid material power instabilities current torches which strongly affect heat momentum transfers nanometric particles. This paper reports an original method make TiO2 by suspension spraying. A direct (DC) supply applying time-modulated amplitude custom DC torch is used generate at low (1.5 kW) pulsed laminar jet periodic oscillations its properties. To best use this mode, synchronization device was developed. It allows triggering arc voltage inkjet nozzle deliver precise moment single droplet improve control plasma/material interaction. An ink anatase solid particles formulated be compatible drop-on-demand printhead dispenser. In-flight diagnostic made optical emission spectroscopy fast shutter camera. characterized scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction transmission microscopy. Results show that homogeneous cauliflowers shapes obtained thanks controlled system. competition between nucleation mechanism deposition also observed. These deposits correspond mixture rutile phases.
