摘要: A coupled mode model describing the light transfer between a single-mode fiber and planar asymmetric waveguide, which takes into account two dimensions of waveguide cross sections, as well TE or TM polarization modes, is presented. This applied to practical case distributed (curved fiber) coupler, possibility modulation by changing refractive index: cover medium pointed out. The action such coupler polarizer, could be externally driven, also considered. >
